TNPSC Recruitment 2025: Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) has released recruitment for a total of 70 posts for 2025. These posts include Deputy Collector, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP), Assistant Commissioner and other government posts.
Under this recruitment process, online applications will be accepted from the candidates. Interested candidates can apply from 1 April 2025 to 30 April 2025.

TNPSC Recruitment 2025 Education & Post Details
Deputy Collector – A total of 28 posts have been set for this post and it is mandatory for the candidate to have a graduation degree.
Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) – There are a total of 07 posts for this post. The candidate must also have a graduation degree for this post as this post is associated with a higher rank in the police administration.
Assistant Commissioner (Commercial Tax) – There are a total of 19 posts for this post and the candidate must have a graduation degree as well as a B.Com or B.L (Bachelor of Law) degree.
Assistant Director of Rural Development – There are a total of 07 posts for this post and the candidate must have a post graduate degree or diploma along with a graduation degree.
District Employment Officer – A total of 03 posts have been set for this post and the candidate must have a graduation degree.
Assistant Commissioner of Labor – There are a total of 06 posts for this post and the candidate must have a graduation degree.
TNPSC Recruitment 2025 Age Limit
The age limit (as on 01-07-2025) has been fixed for various posts. Generally, the minimum age of the applicant should be 21 years. At the same time, the maximum age limit varies according to the posts.
For higher posts like Deputy Collector, DSP and Assistant Commissioner, the maximum age limit has been kept between 34 to 35 years.
At the same time, the maximum age limit has been fixed at 34 years for posts like Assistant Director of Rural Development, District Employment Officer and Assistant Commissioner of Labor.
This age limit plays an important role in the selection of applicants and only candidates falling within the eligible age limit can apply.
TNPSC Recruitment 2025 Application Fees
The application fee has been fixed differently for different examinations. The preliminary examination fee is Rs 100 which candidates have to pay to appear in the preliminary examination.
This fee is charged for conducting the examination and other arrangements. After this, if the candidates are successful in the preliminary examination, they will have to pay the main examination fee of Rs 200.
This fee is mandatory to appear in the main examination and this fee is also charged to cover various arrangements related to the examination. Both the fees can be paid through online mode during the application process.
TNPSC Recruitment 2025 Salary
The pay scale will be set as per Level 22 for all the posts which will be determined by the TNPSC (Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission). This means that the selected candidates will be given a fixed amount every month which will be as per the standards set under Level 22.
The pay scale may also include various allowances and other facilities which are provided to government employees during their job.

Preliminary Exam – An objective type test in which the general knowledge, mental ability and aptitude of the candidates will be assessed.
Main Exam – The selected candidates will have to appear in the main exam which will be conducted as per the post specific criteria.
Interview and Document Verification – After the main exam, the candidates will be interviewed and their documents will be verified.
